Thanksgiving Brunch |
Mrs. Brodeur and Mrs. Silva's 4th grade class |
The children of Mrs. Brodeur and Mrs. Silva's fourth grade class
invited the three other fourth grade classes to enjoy a Thanksgiving brunch
and prayer service on November 11th. The students created and handed out invitations,
prepared the prayer intercessions that they read during the service and brought
food for the feast. All of the fourth graders were asked to bring a can good
to enter the service. The can goods were then donated to the St. Vincent de
Paul Society to be distributed to the needy for Thanksgiving. The children
were brought together to learn that they can play, pray and eat together.
There were approximately 35 children that participated in this wonderful event.
